Ideas. Questions. Answers. Bring Yours to NCHC26 in New Orleans.

Greetings, Members of the NRHC!

We are thrilled to invite you to the 2026 NCHC Annual Conference in New Orleans on November 11-14! Our theme for this year is:

Ideas. Questions. Answers. Honors. | Envisioning the Next 60 Years of Honors

If the NRHC has you thinking about the future of honors, NCHC26 in New Orleans is the place to continue that conversation.

With Early Bird Registration opening April 1, here are a few reasons to make NCHC26 your next conference.

1.     Networking

Whether you are a professional or student, there is no shortage of opportunities to network and connect with your peers. From receptions to roundtables and panel discussions, you will have the opportunity to share ideas, ask questions, and provide answers with peers from across the nation and even the globe.

2.     Professional Development

Make progress on your career and professional development goals by attending sessions, workshops, and more. We offer a variety of tracks that will allow you to dive deep into a subject or broaden your knowledge pool as you sample different topics.

Students can take advantage of Students in Honors Consultant appointments to cover items such as resumes, scholarship/fellowship applications, research proposals and more. In addition, the Recruitment Fair (formerly known as Graduate Fair) is a great way for students to connect with recruiters for graduate school, fellowships, and career opportunities.

3.     Contribute to the Future of Honors

Lend your voice and perspective to committee forums and meetings (NCHC committee meetings are open to anyone to attend—professionals and students alike), participate in the Annual Business Meeting, and share your ideas in the Idea Showcase. Your input and feedback in these meetings help guide NCHC’s direction as an organization and shape the resources, programming, and support created for all members.

Early Bird Registration opens April 1, so make sure to bookmark the 2026 Conference webpage to start planning your conference experience.

If you have any questions, please reach out to the NCHC Professional Team at hello@nchchonors.org or 402-472-9150.

We wish you a world of ideas, we wish you a galaxy of questions, and a multiverse of answers as we seek to shape the future of honors.
